Immortal Arms ™ Decapper Capture Plate (IDCP)

Immortal Arms ™ RS Decapper Shell Plate (RDSP) fixes several annoying problems with the RS Automatic Decapper system:
1. Small base cases, like .223, have a tendency to topple over and break the decapper pin.
The RDSP captures and holds the case like a press shell plate, preventing it from falling over.
2. Out of spec flash holes, like Norma, let brass stick to the decap pin so the next case is crushed and the pin breaks.
The RDSP holds the case so when the decapper moves back up, the case will not go with it.
3. There is no way to know when the pin breaks or a pull back leaves the primer in place.
The RDSP provides the mounting solution for the Carpet Python sensor that will detect when a primer is not ejected and alarm with both a buzzer and light so you don't end up with a bucket full of undecapped brass. The Carpet Python will be released in late April/Early May 2023.
The RDSP comes with a jig to allow you to modify the RS Decapper base to allow the system to fit. This will require you to cut out a section of the base. We suggest a handheld router. The video below shows the process. We caution you, use of power tools is inherently dangerous. Perform this operation at your own risk.
The RDSP uses Lee X-Press shell holders. You can purchase the most popular shell holders individually with the unit, or we also sell a "complete" set that covers almost all modern cases out there (and a few very old ones).
When using the RDSP for 45ACP/308/3006 cases, you will need a modified set of pegs for the decapper. We also mod the shell holder to allow for the large base to properly fall into the output tube. The cost for the pegs is why the cost for that size is far higher than the rest of them. THE FULL SET OF SHELL HOLDERS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE MODIFIED PEGS OR HOLDERS.
